Abstract
Want lectures with truly seamless audio and video? Want to give paperless exams that grade themselves? Want a gradebook that is dynamic and will automatically update a student accessible grade web page? Bring your classroom into the new era of cloud computing using Google Docs. The cloud allows you to do all of this in an easy to use, platform independent setting. You can also manage all of this from any computer, home, campus or classroom with no need to synchronize files between computers or keep track of a USB drive. Professor Mark E. Berg of Richard Stockton College has been using the cloud via Google Docs for his Psychology courses at Stockton College as an experiment for about two years and has found it to be far superior to the standard office suite and traditional local desktop PC or Mac. His students have been happier and more satisfied with the accessibility of the content in the course, and he has spent less time on course management. In this session, he shows how he has utilized the cloud and demonstrates how to get going on your own.
