Abstract
There is a need in the millennial generation to link classroom teaching with the ways that students learn best, namely using online applications linked to course content. This research project involved two faculty members and their students in a required university core course called "The Journey of Transformation." The Web 2.0 tools, Glogster and Wordle, were used to link content knowledge of two course texts with student interpretations while showcasing creativity. These technology products were created in the fall 2009 semester in two separate sections of this freshman course taught by two faculty members. Data was collected and reported on process, product, peer review, and learning among the 40 students.
