Abstract
The Bethany Hour. The Scripture lesson is from Romans 12:19. The Rev. William A. Jones Jr. discusses the philosophies of Malcom X and Martin Luther King Jr. in relation to vengeance/revenge. This sermon is in response to local unrest following the racially motivated murder of Yusef Hawkins (sometimes spelled as Yusuf) in 1989 in Bensonhurst. Jones tells the congregation that according to the Bible, vengeance belongs to God. The sermon begins at 0:21:25.
