Abstract
The Bethany Hour. Scripture lesson from Exodus 13:17-22. The Rev. William A. Jones Jr. discusses the importance of tradition, memory and honoring one's ancestors as well as the importance of remembrance in regards to slavery. This appears to be a special service to celebrate African heritage. The choir music in this service is accompanied by African drums, at 0:14:40, an unnamed woman reads a piece about social and racial justice and Jones describes the African clothing both he and another person are wearing at the service. Sermon begins at 0:26:20.
