Abstract
Women achievement, the history of women in America and women heroes are shown in this third program of American women history spanning 1852-1885. This program discusses the writers Harriet Beecher Stowe, Emily Dickinson, Harriet Tubman, Louisa May Alcott; Susan B. Anthony and her arrest for voting; Clara Barton's founding of the Red Cross; and the women of the wild west, Annie Oakley, Calamity Jane, and Belle Starr. In eight half-hour shows, A History of Women's Achievement in America examines the 400-year history of American women's inspiring accomplishments and victories.
