Abstract
This second program covers the years 1700 B.C. - 1000 A.D. During the classic golden age of American Indians, they built some of the world's greatest cities and adopted agriculture and the bow and arrow. This original, eight-part series of half-hour shows documents the history of American Indian achievement, its defining role in the growth of the country, and its influence on current events. The series highlights the many contributions of American Indians that have influenced and shaped the history of the United States.
