Abstract
Pop-rock musician Tommy James of Tommy James & The Shondells discusses his life and career in music in conjunction with his book, “Me, the Mob, and the Music.” Topics include his first band at 14 years old, his hit “Hanky Panky” with the Shondells, the record labels to which he signed throughout his career, his collaborators, the contemporary record industry, the Ed Sullivan Show, making albums, and his experiences with the mob.
