Abstract
Several years ago, Seton Hall University created a course template with the goal to provide consistency and quality in online courses offered at the University. Unfortunately, that was not enough. Through informal faculty feedback and instructional designer experiences, the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center created faculty-centered programs and resources to assist faculty while building their online course. The program and resources allowed faculty to focus on the content and facilitating the course, not building the course in Blackboard. This session demonstrates the materials developed to improve online course development in terms of faculty satisfaction and instructional designer sanity.
