Abstract
Stevens Institute of Technology discusses the implementation of its single sign-on solution leveraging Shibboleth for on-campus and hosted university technology services. The redesign, justification, and use of the myStevens gateway page is discussed. The myStevens page is now separate from e-mail and portal, providing authentication and authorization for university services based on role. Open technologies are used so vender licensing and support is not required. There is a brief discussion of Shibboleth, its role in Higher Education and the adoption by NJEDge.
