Abstract
The 18 credit Quality Assurance program at BCC was designed to prepare workers to enter the NJ industries that are governed by the FDA. Delivery of a Quality Assurance Certificate program in 7 week courses via 2 weekly webinars at which attendance was mandatory and eight hour Saturday laboratory sessions resulted in a 100% retention rate and high student performance and success rate in job placement. Utilization of webinars, which were archived, electronic notebooks and data analysis in excel trained students in the computer skills that are essential for employment in this area.
