DNA is a blueprint that determines our physical make up and influences the way we think and feel The transmittal of genes from parent to child occurs with very few "mistakes." Your DNA is 99.9% the same as your friend's, and 99% the same as a chimpanzee's. Genes, however, are not all that matters in terms of human health The phenotype expressed in any organism also reflects the environment in which they live.
