Abstract
Last year the Venice Family Clinic recorded more than 80,000 patient visits and filled more than 65,000 free prescriptions. No one paid a cent for the care they so badly needed. Patients range from the homeless to people who suffer from chronic diseases. When specialized care is required, the clinic relies on the generosity of volunteers.
