Abstract
When the medical community begins to deal with an epidemic, it looks for ways to treat the affected and keep the disease from spreading. At the USC Medical Center, two groups of children are getting help: those who are direct victims of assault and those who have been exposed to violence. These children learn to recognize inappropriate behavior and practice methods of conflict resolution other than violence.
