Abstract
Dr. John Glaspy dispenses advice that he calls the "obvious." Not all cancers need treatment, at least immediately. Attention to the management of pain and fatigue, and maintaining quality of life are important considerations. Treating low blood oxygen levels with oxygen, making sure that people are as nourished as they can be, good general medical care must be a priority.
