Abstract
Philosopher Daniel Dennett talks about differential reproduction, which he says is the key idea of natural selection. With differential reproduction, some copies of the original are a little less perfect than others. Those that are less perfect tend to disappear, while those of higher quality continue. In other words, according to Darwin's idea of natural selection, there's a selective pressure of some sort so that not all offspring are created equal.
