Abstract
Postcard is a color illustration depicting the city view from the Woolworth Building. All of the East River bridges, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg Bridges are shown. The postcard is divided, has not been mailed, and is circa 1914-1943.

POST CARD
BROOKLYN, MANHATTAN, and Williamsburg Bridges span the East River; connecting the Boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The oldest and the first constructed is the Brooklyn Bridge; begun in 1870 and open to traffic in 1883. The Manhattan Bridge has a river span of 1,470 feet and a total length of 6,855 feet, the towers are 322 feet above mean high water tide. Cost was $24,000,000. The Williamsburg Bridge is the greatest suspension bridge in the world with a channel span of 1,600 feet and a length of 7,200 feet between terminals; width, 118 feet.
