BROOKLYN BRIDGE AND NEW YORK SKYLINE.
Brooklyn Bridge, the first and best known of the large bridge structures that span the East River, has closely linked Brooklyn to New York. It made possible Brooklyn's growth as a manufacturing center, for it is the principle means of rapid transportation and easy access to the New York market. Here we have a view of lower Manhattan, the commercial center, where the tallest buildings in the world are erected.
