Postcard is a color real photo of the Manhattan Bridge plaza in NYC. The postcard is divided, has not been mailed, and is circa 1907-1914.

Manhattan Bridge Approach
Manhattan Bridge approach from the Bowery, now under construction. The plaza and arch are similar to the Porte St. Denis in Paris, the colonnade similar in effect to that of St. Peters in Rome. The surface cars will be back of the colonnade on the north side, while the elevated and subway trains will approach the bridge on an elevated structure to the south.
