BC's Mardi Gras Parody Parade is a campus wide success, President Gallagher documents charges of communist leanings at "Observation Post," changes his decision to call out individual editors through his clique of "Observation Post" editor-in-chief Peter Steinberg. President Gallagher's 18-page report comes at a time when a BC investigative committee cleared "Observation Post" of its "Marxism" charge, BC hosts eighteenth annual meeting of American Society for Aesthetics, Eleanor Roosevelt has plans to visit BC on October 31st and November 9th, BC's Student Committee on Student Appeals, its student court, whose membership has dwindled to only two judges as its failure to function continues, College seniors can now apply for 250 available New York State College Teaching Fellowships which award annual stipends to recipients for a two-year period, BC freshmen parents are invited to attend a program run by the university to familiarize them with the college's offerings and resources, Professor Paul J. Salvatore passes away, Gustave G. Rosenberg chair of the Board of Higher Education, requests funds from the City Planning Commission so city colleges can broaden the collegiate services they provide, BC's NAACP chapter will continuing Woolworth picketing with plans to bring regular guest speakers to campus, Doctor Floyd E.
