This issue contains articles about a college freedom of press scandal at Queens College where a new campus newspaper's editor-in-chief would be chosen by a faculty committee instead of students and be given a $600 stipend, whereas no other campus newspapers' staffs in the city colleges have received any monetary compensation before, as well as a new Executive Council president, Arnold Cohen, being elected to succeed the former president, Alan Dershowitz.
