Abstract
Psychologist and author Paul Ekman talks about utilizing his work on reading facial expressions to predict who in a crowd of people might be bent on assassination. Dr. Ekman notes that a facial expression alone isn't a guarantee of what someone is planning to do. "But by learning to be hyper alert to that face," Dr. Ekman says, "...if you're a Secret Service person or anyone doing protection...what you can do is interpose your body between that person and a likely target...(or) you might go up to that person, say a few words, see if there's any reason you might want to talk to them further."
