CUNY’s administrative Council removes ban on communist speakers on city campuses with schools being able to decide for themselves, BC President Gideonse lifts ban for BC students, Board of Higher Education approves promotions for 40 BC faculty members scheduled to take effect 1/1/1962, BHE approves record budget for CUNY totaling close to $67 million, the Budapest String Quartet performs at BC Concert Series, new photocopy service machines is installed in BC library.
