Abstract
The Russian revolution in the fall of 1917 creates new opportunities for Germany in World War I. The Germans launch a series of offensives drives in an attempt to reach Paris before U. S. troops arrive. However, the arrival of U. S. troops in June and July stops Germany's offensive campaign.
