Abstract
The Versailles Treaty marks the end of World War I between the Allies and Germany. Germany refuses to accept full responsibility for the war, new countries are established in Eastern Europe, and not all Allies agree with the terms of the treaty, making it more of a truce than a certificate of lasting peace.
