Abstract
The Roman Emperor Hadrian ordered the construction of a wall which would mark the northern boundary of the mighty Roman Empire. Built during the Roman occupation of Britain, the wall was a last outpost. It meant the end of civilization and a separation from the barbarians. Includes location footage of the Wall today as well as interpretation, analysis and commentary.
