It's estimated that one in six of the troops returning home from the Iraq War will suffer some form of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Hidden Wounds explores this painful reality through the stories of three New England veterans and their struggles to overcome the trauma of their experiences. Three very different men who, in spite of their differences, all came home with post-traumatic stress disorder: Nate Fick, Dartmouth grad, Marine, and the author of "One Bullet Away." Russell Anderson, a reservist who volunteered to go to Iraq and returned depressed and too proud to seek counseling. Jeff Lucey, a Marine reservist who took to drink and eventually committed suicide at age 23 on his return home.
