Abstract
In the area of zero emissions technology, fuel cells are very promising. When using hydrogen in a fuel cell, the only byproduct is water vapor. The technology can be used in automobiles, buses, and power plants. The main obstacle to its widespread use is the cost to convert from a fossil fuel economy to a hydrogen economy.
