These unrehearsed vignettes show a variety of clinicians interviewing actual patients about their sexual and drug-using histories. While invaluable for evaluating HIV risk, these approaches will also enable clinicians to assess risks for other sexually transmitted diseases, as well as for the variety of health risks associated with drug use. Though geared to clinicians in primary healthcare and mental health settings, the techniques the video models will be helpful in any delivery context.
