Abstract
This clip summarizes renaming fractions, explaining that numerators and denominators can be multiplied or divided by the same non-zero number without changing the value of the fraction. The clip concludes by stating that there are two classes or families of fractions that are of special interest: one in which the numerator and the denominator are the same and every member of the family therefore equals 1, and the family in which the numerator is 0, and therefore all such fractions equal 0.
