Abstract
This clip explains what it calls the second rule for multiplying fractions, in which each fraction has a numerator of one. "When you multiply these fractions," the clip states, "…the answer will also be a fraction. Its numerator will be 1 times 1 or 1." The clip then goes on to explain that the new denominator will be the product of the original denominators multiplied together.
