Abstract
This clip explains that, now that we understand signed numbers and fractions, we can solve equations whose solutions are not necessarily whole numbers. The clip states that, "…in general, it doesn't matter whether our equations involve positive or negative numbers, integers or fractions, we can still add, subtract, multiply and divide just as we did before, as long as we work in the same way with both sides of the equation.
