Abstract
This clip explains that the mean is the most common statistical measurement: the arithmetic average. "It is the sum of all the values, divided by the number of values in the data set," the clip states. The clip also includes two examples of how the mean is determined. The first of these involves figuring out an appliance sales person's mean sale for one day; the second involves making a grocery budget based on the mean amount spent on groceries per week.
