Abstract
This concert celebrates the music of Hungarian composer Bela Bartok. Frank Pavese, an adjunct professor of music at William Paterson University, performs Bartok’s “Sonata for Piano,” a solo piece. “Sonata for Violin and Piano” is played by violinist Dimitar Hadjipetkov and pianist Itay Goren ’04. Pavese and Goren play the piano parts for “Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion,” joined by Alex Buxbaum and Jeffery Rubin on percussion.
