Abstract
Question and answer session with the audience following the panel discussion “Globalization’s Challenges and Opportunities: the Next Phase.” Questions concern ethics; the role of government in reducing poverty and enacting land reform; the role of non-government organizations in enforcing laws and enacting human rights; privatization of global common properties and resources; and whether foreign intervention is justifiable if it ostensibly will improve human rights.
