Abstract
This program focuses on the physiological and emotional changes a woman goes through during pregnancy, and includes information that can assist the nurse in caring and reassuring her pregnant patients. Patient history and prenatal care is also discussed. This program has been revised to clarify that Fetal Kick Counts are commonly used but may not be routinely used, and to clarify the definitions of certain terms. In addition, it has been updated to reflect changes in the frequency of prenatal visits.
