Abstract
This video illustrates ways to encourage moral development from infancy onward, showing how children and young adults learn and act out good and bad behavior. Scenes from a busy preschool show how toddlers absorb concepts of right and wrong, personal responsibility, and compassion, demonstrating that these qualities are best learned through social interaction. Also featured is a roundtable session in which teens frankly discuss moral dilemmas, using their personal experiences as examples.
