Abstract
Rutgers University hosts its version of Sakai, the collaborative learning environment, for roughly 50,000 people. The open source software is developed by many participating institutions around the world. It takes careful planning, testing, and coordination among'st those in the community to continue to deliver a stable and reliable product. This talk will cover Rutgers' implementation of Sakai and what it takes to plan for upgraded versions, deploy, and support them.
