Abstract
Mobile devices are changing education as we know it. While some schools are instituting 1 to 1 initiatives or otherwise deploying their own devices, others recognize the advantages of a BYOD model. As a result of the proliferation of mobile devices, many students already own one that can be utilized as part of a BYOD initiative for education. This provides a great opportunity for schools, but there are also challenges.
