Abstract
As online program initiatives continue to increase at Montclair State University, so does the need to support faculty in making this paradigm shift to online teaching and learning. For the past year, the Track: Technology Training and Integration group has offered an online faculty development focused on key pedagogical principles important for online teaching and learning. From the fall of 2012, when the first cohort was offered, through the summer of 2013, there have been approximately 140 faculty register for this program, across colleges and departments. This presentation will share the structure and components of the faculty development program and reflect on faculty participation and survey responses from this first year of implementation.
