What is creativity and how can it be purposefully incorporated into counseling?

In this engaging film, participants demonstrate aspects of the SCAMPER (Substitute, Combine, Adapt or Alter, Modify, Put to Other Uses, Eliminate, Reverse or Rearrange) model to elicit new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. SCAMPER is atheoretical and can fit into many mainstream theories of counseling as an adjunct to counseling techniques within major theories.

Sam Gladding, a leader in the creativity movement, demonstrates and discusses how creativity can enrich counselors in accessing their creative potential and employing it in their professional and personal lives.
