Gaming is not a new concept in higher education; many professors use programs like Jeopardy or quiz bowls to solidify course content. But, is there more? What other games exist that are both educational AND robust? Can commercial video games be used as textbooks? Join Beth Ritter-Guth as she explores the use of various web based, mobile, and console games in the teaching of core college level courses. Bio:
Beth Ritter-Guth is the Director of Instructional Design and Director of American Honors at Union County College. Prior to her administrative post, she was tenured in English at Lehigh Carbon Community College in PA.
