Abstract
I will be presenting about how Bergen Catholic implemented computer-based testing. We began in March 2015 with training and question design. Our goal was to deliver all final exams via CBT (approximately 4,000). We designed a training plan for the faculty and communicated clear expectations about how final exams would be delivered. Our project was successful. Not only did we use ExamSoft for final exams, but many of our teachers used it as their primary assessment tool. We learned many things from this implementation, primarily that a 30-year-old exam schedule and format could be completely redesigned. Anyone who attends this presentation, either K-12 or higher ed, will be able to see the benefit of CBT and bring it back to their own institutions.
