Abstract
Good “Digital Citizenship” in today’s world of instant information availability is a current and ever-changing topic. In a world where information is accessible via computer, smartphone and other devices, how do we recognize the importance of good digital citizenship while the needs of academia call for more information access? Dr. Daniel Julius, Provost and Senior VP of New Jersey City University, addresses this topic in what he hopes will be an open dialogue between himself and all attendees of the initial plenary session, “Can We Promote Good Digital Citizenship, Safeguard Academic Freedom and Comply with Federal Legislation?” on Wednesday, November 16, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
