Abstract
The world has become an interconnected Internet of Things....everything from smartphones to Fitbits, computers to smart electronics and appliances all connected and “speaking” to each other. The impact on college campuses is already being felt, and changes with each new day. Florence Hudson, SVP and Chief Innovation Officer at Internet 2 believes college presidents need to pay attention to this trend now. Here is a preview of the topic of her keynote address to the Executive Dinner attendees on Wednesday, November 16, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., and her focus on why this needs to be a focus now in academic institutions.
