Abstract
Encouraging changes are taking place in high schools across the state of New Jersey in regard to technology and information literacy. Within the past year or two, many NJ high schools have embraced laptop programs, added electronic resources to the library, and purchased better high school research appropriate databases. However, students still subscribe to bad habits and ignore key research skills unless absolutely forced upon them. Many are not yet ready for college level research, but the landscape is not all grim.
