Abstract
Game play creates a fun and interactive classroom, and can apply to any content area. From simple independent games like a crossword puzzle, to team competition in a game of knowledge like Kahoot!, students can play their way to understanding. Game play also allows for real time formative assessment, addressing student misconceptions before they become part of the student’s (mis)understanding of the material. Featured games are easy to set up, and with thousands of games created by others, you may just find all you need to do is plug and play.
